NGONI are the only Ugandan artistes to have been invited to peform alongside Kevin Lyttle, Kofi Olomidde and D.N.A from Kenya (BANJUKA) at the annual Tanzania Boda to Boda Fiesta tour, 2007 organised by Clouds Fm and sponsored by Straight Music.
The tour kicked off in Mwanza,with the first V.I.P show held on 10th Aug and the second in the stadium on 12th Aug 200.The crowds were at a record 60,000 people, and among other artistes that peformed were Chidi Benz, Mwana Fa, Wanaume, Fid Q,Besta,Ali Kiba, Q-Chief, T.I.D and many other Tanzanian artistes.
The tour continued to Daresalaam at a show held at the Leader's Club on the 18th Aug 2007.Despite the heavy rains earlier on in the day,the show kicked off at 5pm to energetic peformances by the artistes,backed by the T.H.K band.The crowds were so frenzy and demanded that NGONI peform their newest song in Tanzania, Mimi Na Wewe featuring A.Y. On Sunday 19th Aug 2007the tour crossed to Zanzibar.
Due to popular demand, NGONI have been requested to stay in Tanzania for 3 more weeks as they tour the rest of Tanzania to complete all the towns within, alongside D.N.A. ending the tour in the Southwest town of Mbeya with two shows ie 07th September and 08th September 2007.
Away from the tour, NGONI have also managed to record a song with Tanzania's best female artiste, Lady JayDee and the song will be released in 2008 on NGONI's new album, NGONIOLOGY.
